We, at Portsmouth Extension Office, want to continue to contribute to Portsmouth and our local community health and wellness education needs! The Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) services will present short videos of educational topics, monthly entitled “Healthy Communities 1st”.  This program will be provided from March through August, 2022.  Crystal Barber, MNS, RD- FCS Extension Agent- Registered Dietitian and NETA certified exercise instructor will be your host. The sessions will include collaborations with other VCE and Portsmouth faculty and staff, community partners, volunteers and participants.

Topics that will be covered:  March: Let’s Celebrate National Nutrition Month, April- Volunteers Positively Impact Community Health, May- Staying Mentally Well & Healthy, June- Parenting Through the New Norm, July- Financial Wellness Counts, August- Rev Up Your Physical Activity Now.
